Locals Only

Kerri needed a quick image for a place settings for a dinner party she's catering. She knew what she wanted and I made it pretty. I used the same style of corn that I drew for her business cards. I really wasn't sure until I saw the prints but the detail is there, even on a 3" x 3" card. the 20" x 16" Poster looks rad too.

Humanity Park 152: Oly Pen

Super stoked on the way this one came out! I should have made a Sasquatch driving the UFO on the 155, cause I think they're making guest appearances on the 157 and the 149. Oh well... suspension of disbelief...

Side note: If anyone is paying attention, now you can see where the bigfoot and the ferns in my earlier posts came from.

Humanity Park 155 (Updated)

Pretty stoked on this one. I'm excited to see it since I don't usually get to work so big. I was able to work in some minute detail. Daniel pressed one of these using a direct to print urethane plotter and he's saying it looks amazing. I've never heard Daniel say anything like that so either he's fucking with me or this printer is some heavy futuristic stuff. Anyway, here's one of the new series.

UPDATE: I got the first pressing in! Really excited. I need to tweak out the colors but we'll work out the bugs before production. Next up, The 152 and 157.

I Love Sushi

Can't really say who this is for. Not sure if they'll like it. All I can say is, "I sure do."

You're Welcome

Thanks Jason, for letting me take a stab at the Welcome logo facelift

More Humanity

Here is a rough draft for the Humanity Park Series. The first is a top sheet and the next three are base options. In total there are four sizes. Each will represent a different National Park in one of the four seasons. This one is Yosemetie. The finished version will have more color and detail. Most likely a sasquatch peeking out from behind a letter.

Hobo Signs

I've really been into Hobos lately. Hobo signs (their secret language of symbols) are fascinating. I was thinking about wandering and home when I drew this for our friends' housewarming party.

Thinkin' about trees...

Why not... Swings are great.
Treehouse?

Absurd dreams of floating over a forest. If developed, this should stretch out more and include more boats.

Supertreehouse thinkin' sketch

Trying to work out the idea. The tree should grow more in a sideways fashion.

Trees make me want Lemonade.

Oh, the humanity (options)

Here are a couple logo "updates". Either that or I just killed the brand.

Some Stuff I Drew

This is either stuff I drew recently or stuff I drew and forgot and after finding it again, latched on to even though it had no rightful home. I imagine them as people in a neighborhood; familiar, kind of annoying but beautiful in some way that you just can't put your finger on. I'm working on building the neighborhood that these people are going to live in.

(I drew this with Paul on the train. His is the good part.)
